Eetza Research Associates, a Nevada and minority owned consulting firm founded in November 2010, offers Cultural Resource-related Services; GIS, Archaeological and Desert Tortoise Surveys.

Our firm presents Patti DeBunch (Owner, Manager and Field Archaeologist), Jim Bunch (Co-Owner and Principal Investigator), Steve Stearns (Archaeologist-Consultant), and Gene Hattori (Advisor/Chief Editor-Consultant) together we are a creative team with over 175 years of collective experience in the Great Basin conducting: Research, Archaeological Inventories, N.R. Determination, Treatment Plans, Monitoring, Geo-Archaeology Investigations, Sensitivity Studies, NEPA, Section 106, Section 4(f), NAGPRA/ARPA Compliance and Desert Tortoise Surveys and Relocation.

In Eetza Research Associates we strive with a creative approach and high quality work to further research goals through new methods and techniques providing our clients with cost effective recommendations to their needs, specific problems and research questions. We believe that a thorough approach and consideration of cultural resources is vital to achieve a complete investigation and successful data recovery in the environmental review and compliance process. Awarded two research grants under the BLM’s program -Lincoln County Archaeological Initiative (LCAI) Round 5 (2013) and Round 6 (2014).

Cultural Resource Permits

Eetza Research Associates, LLC holds current Statewide permits for conducting cultural resource investigations from the Bureau of Land Management Nevada State Office, Cultural Resources Use Permit N-89309 and from the Nevada State Museum, Nevada Antiquities Permit No. 288.
