3D Scanning

3D scanning is a new method in archaeology for collecting data in addition to analyze distinctive and/or unique artifacts and Eetza Research Associates is proud to offer this new technology.  The collected data can be used to reconstruct digital three-dimensional models becoming very useful and essential tool specially  due to the “no collection” policy by land managers.  This new technology is an alternative and a non-destructive method of acquiring data in the field.

Eetza Research Associates recently acquired a 3D scanner, it will be used to scan decorated pottery fragments, unique and diagnostic lithics and historical artifacts.
