Geo-Archaeology Investigations and Sensitivity Studies have significantly changed how we approach collecting information at archaeological sites.  With this new tool we can now significantly improve the range and how we collect data in the field facilitating our ability to successfully interpret archaeological sites.


For over 35 years Patti has been drafting maps for various agencies, archaeologists, anthropologists, historians and novelists. Patti applies thorough consideration to clients needs, her creative approach and expertise has made her clients to continue working with her.  Her work has been published by UNR, Utah Press, USFWS, with the Smithsonian Institute Press among others.

Drafting and Illustrations

In the early 1980’s Patti was accepted as a freelance member of the Guild of Scientific Illustrators for the Smithsonian Institute.  Some of her art work has been published in the Eduard Sapir’s Notes (C. Fowler),  Jack Longstreet and Goldfield (S. Zanjani 1988, 1992),  Essays in Basque Social Anthropology and History (W. Douglass 1989), William Z. Park’s ethnographic notes… (C. Fowler 1989), Photographs by John K. Hillers (D. Fowler 1989), An Ethnographic Study in Stillwater Marsh (C. Fowler 1992), Laboratory of Anthropology (D. Fowler 2010), Glen Canyon Country, Personal Memoirs (D. Fowler 2011) and others.

Patti worked preparing illustrations for the Isabel Kelly’s unpublished field notes publication under Dr. C. Fowler  (in press) and on early archaeological dam surveys in the Colorado River Basin by D. Fowler, PhD.  (in press).
